Web Designer/Web Developer/Graphic Designer (BMG)

We are currently looking for a smart, hard-working individual that has experience in graphic design, developing WordPress websites and has excellent project management skills.

Required Knowledge/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Highly Proficient at Graphic Design
  • Experience developing responsive websites
  • Experience developing WordPress websites
  • Experience integrating PHP with front-end code

PR Account Executive (BMG)

Responsibilities

  • Draft and service pitch letters, press releases and media alerts.
  • Create targeted media lists for broadcast, radio and print outlets.
  • Write and distribute press releases to targeted media outlets.
  • Proactively pitch targeted media outlets, including broadcast, print and new media.
  • Write and edit media materials such as media alerts, fact sheets, bios, and case studies.
  • Daily client interaction to update, report on and discuss media relations.
  • Daily interaction with various media outlets to discuss upcoming story ideas.
  • Responsible for daily account management activities, such as agendas, recaps, activity reports, media monitoring and coordination of all necessary materials for client accounts.
  • Attend and facilitate media interviews; network with reporters and editors.
  • Coordinate various event planning and media outreach events.
  • Assist in the research, writing and development of new business proposals and presentations.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop strategic/creative thinking for clients.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to develop and implement successful PR campaigns.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Experience with Google and Bing’s services, including Analytics and Webmaster Tools
  • Experience with Google’s Keyword Tool
  • A functional understanding of HTML and CSS
  • The ability to work with back-end SEO elements such as .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, site speed optimization, and related skills
  • Proven success in link building and viral strategies
  • The ability to deploy an effective local and long-tail search strategy
  • A deep understanding of mobile strategy and how it relates to SEO
  • A solid grasp of how blogging, press releases, social media, and related strategies go hand-in-hand with SEO

Copywriter (Blau Journal)

The Copywriter will be responsible for creating and editing a range of content formats, from blog posts to white papers, technical documentation to ad copy, emails to training materials and more. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in copywriting/journalism who enjoys and excels in both technical and creative writing. The ideal person for this role has experience and/or a strong interest in the tech industry, web design and social media.

Responsibilities

  • Writing well-researched, effective content across many formats, including web copy, blog posts, emails/macros, infographics, scripts, technical documentation, ad copy, training materials, decks, etc.
  • Proofreading and editing.
  • Maintaining the consistency of our brand’s tone and voice.
  • Assisting the Marketing Communications team with other tasks as necessary.
